Welcome to my store, I’m thankful for your visit!

A bit about myself:

I am a member of the Ojibwa nation, specifically the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. When I was 12 years old, my aunt, a great weaver, gifted me a small loom and started teaching me the ancient art of weaving that has been passed down from generation to generation.

Later, I had the amazing opportunity to learn the art of cutting stones and making Native American jewelry from some of the best Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni silversmith artists in the US.

With this skill, I have been able to travel around the US selling my jewelry at Pow Wow’s and flea markets. During this experience, I have been honored to educate people about genuine Native American jewelry and how it’s made.

Unfortunately, I have also witnessed other traders and sellers of Native American Jewelry manipulate people into buy their products. I’ve been very upset and saddened by how much false information they will use to make a profit. Some even go so far as to sell fake Zuni and Navajo jewelry along with fake turquoise.

It can be very difficult as a Native American artist to share my art and my culture, so I have setup this website for several reasons:

First, I want to share my jewelry and to give a platform to GENUINE Native American artists to sell their work as well.

Second, I want to help educate YOU on how to spot authentic Native American jewelry. I can help you identify your jewelry, prove or disprove its authenticity, and provide a value for your pieces.

So please look around and know you are supporting Native American artists! If you have any questions, please contact me, I’m here to help.

When you are ready, I would enjoy making a custom piece for you or a loved one!

Miigwech! (Thank you!)

Phillip
